The
Network Subcentre of Information-Sharing for Biological Species
and Vegetation Resources
|
|
|
The
subcentre is made up of four websites supported by the Institute
of Botany, the Institute of Animals, and the Institute of
Microbes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It provides original
statistics and convenient browsing and searching for information
related to animals, plants, animalcules and vegetation resources.
It also serves as a source of reference for governmental policies,
research achievements and science education and outreach related
to sustainable use and protection. |
|
| |
|
|
The contents
of the four websites are mainly: |
| |
I.Website
of the vegetation species resources information system(http://pe.ibcas.ac.cn/)
1. Free-sharing and centralized database: China vegetation species
database, database of rare species of severely endangered plants
in China, database of economic plants in China;
2. Digitized museums of plant specimens, including 10,000 copies
of statistics of pattern plants specimens and field living environments,
features of formal pattern species and published graphs as attachment.
